SCBF’s projects with Al Barid Bank in Morocco expanded access to financial services through Barid Cash and Barid Bank Mobile. Barid Cash boosted low-cost money transfers and social payments, while the mobile app improved account access. Though uptake among low-income users is limited, both initiatives show potential to enhance financial inclusion with stronger digital support and regulatory alignment.
